Download Prices

Download Prices is where you can download all products as either a PDF to print out (not recommended) or as a Spreadsheet to either import into your accounting package or open in Excel.

If you have a reasonably long established spend history with us the best price list for you to download would be your frequently ordered items.

If you're a brand new customer, or you only want to download a limited range of products you're better to download a template of your favourite items

You can even set your price lists up to automatically download for you in the format you need on a weekly or monthly basis.

To download a complete price list click on Download Prices under My Account

Download All Products as a Spreadsheet

To download all products as a Spreadsheet, click on Download Prices under My Account.

This will take you to a page where you can choose:

The format you want to download your price list in
Who you want it emailed to

If you've never downloaded it before, the last download in this format you did was over a month ago, you want to download it in a different format, or you want to update it to include items you've purchased since your last download - you'll need to refresh your price list before you download it.

To do this, click on the Create File button

This will trigger a rebuild of your pricing and display the following message:

You can navigate away from this page and continue using the TradeDoor and once completed you'll receive an email notification that your price list is ready to be downloaded, a link to your rebuilt price list will display which you just have to click to download.

This will pop open a dialogue box warning you that the price list has not been refreshed since last time it was downloaded, if you just want to download a copy of the same pricing simply click Ok (otherwise cancel and refresh the pricing first)

If you click ok it will pop another dialogue box, asking you if you want to Open or Save the price list - if you want to import it into your accounting package we recommend you save it, and not open it in excel.

This will save the price list in a format which can now be imported into your accounting package.

If you have already downloaded this same list this month, then you can download it again simply by clicking on the link to the price list

Import Your Frequently Purchased Items into Your Accounting Package

If you've never downloaded your Frequently Ordered Items before, or the last download in this format you did was over a month ago, you want to download it in a different format, or you want to update it to include items you've purchased since your last download - you'll need to refresh your price list before you download it.

To do this choose the format you want to download your frequently ordered items in from the format drop down menu and click the Build Button.

This will trigger a rebuild of your pricing and display the following message:

Once completed a link to your rebuilt price list will display which you just have to click to download.

This will pop open a box asking if you want to save or open the file (it's better to save the file and not open it if you are going to import it into your accounting package).

To learn how to import these prices into your software package, please contact your software support partner or computer consultant.

If you have already downloaded this same list this month, then you can download it again simply by clicking on the link to the price list.

Importing Templates into Your Accounting Package

In addition to being able to print out your templates as price books or use them to base quotes and invoices on you can also download them in a format which can be imported into your computer programme.

If haven't downloaded this template in this format this month, or you've added a few items you want to include in your template you'll need to refresh your pricing data before you download it.

To do this choose the data format you want to download it in and click the build button

This will pop open a message explaining your price list is being built - you can navigate away from this page while this is happening.

Once it has completed a link to your updated download will appear which you just need to click on to

This will pop open a dialogue box asking you if you want to open or save the file (we recommend you just save it)

Once you've downloaded your price list it will be saved in a format that can be imported into your accounting package.

If you've already downloaded this template in the same format that month there'll still be a link to your download there, so if you just want to download it again just click on the link.

Download Prices Automatically

If you want to download you prices on a monthly basis you can schedule them so they are ready to be downloaded in the format you require on a monthly basis.

To do this click on Preferences under settings where you can choose to have either a full price list, your frequently ordered items or your favourite items refreshed on a monthly basis for you to download.

All you have to do is tick the box next to the price list you want to download indicating you want to schedule it, set the email address you want the notification sent to, and choose the format you want to download it in from the drop down menu.

Once your price list has been refreshed you'll receive an email letting you know it is ready to be downloaded.
